Rev Fr. Cherian Iype Thekkethara, BA / BTh. has taken charge as the Vicar of St. Gregorios JSOC, Perumbakkam and celebrated his first Holy Mass on 18th August 2024.

Fr. Cherian was ordained on 27th May 2007. He brings a wealth of experience from his previous service as Vicar at several esteemed churches, including St. Ignatious Jacobite Syrian Church in Kalkaji (Delhi), Mor Gregorious Jacobite Syrian Cathedral in Hyderabad, and St. Thomas Jacobite Syrian Church in Annanagar (Chennai).
