“For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in”.

(Mathew 25:35)

MISSION

Gregorian Foundation for Charity is a faith based, non-profit organization with a driving passion to help alleviate the poor and needy.

GOAL

Our goal is to bring help and hope to those who are impoverished and hungry.

Christian life and practice in general, should be focussed not only to pray for those in need but also to give charity and help alleviate the sufferings of the poor and downtrodden. Jesus tells us “Give Alms”, and you will build up “inexhaustible treasure in heaven, that no thief can reach, nor moth destroy.”

Our Patron saint Mor Gregorios Chathuruthil Kochu Thirumeni, believed that the church should engage in the mission to reach out to the less privileged. Treading in his trail, we established the Gregorian Foundation for Charity, with a vision to help the needy and alleviate the sufferings of the poor and the downtrodden.

INITIATIVES

One of our ventures, as Charity Foundation, was with The New Hope and New Life Trust, Perumbakkam, an orphanage that was hit hard by the pandemic. We provided groceries and essentials for the children in this orphanage.

Georgian Foundation has also embarked on a charity project, to construct a home for a poor homeless family in Anaviratty, High Range, Idukki District, Kerala, which is currently under construction. The completion and handing over of the home is expected to be, by the end of March 2021.
